Faux fresh vs. fresh flowers Many couples dream of having a great lavish and sophisticated wedding with lots of great food, music and flowers……until they realize how much a wedding actually costs. Many at this point get a little scared about the entire wedding thing. I mean its scary enough trying to figure out how your life is going to change if at all by making such a commitment let alone to hear that you have to spend on average about $20,000 for one night. Ok so, so far that was the big bad news. The good news is that this one night is a celebration of your love for each other that you will be sharing with your family, friends and coworkers, etc. There are so many things to think about and plan. Some will go out and hire a planner to make their day go a little smoother and not to worry about the little things on they’re special day. Others are so excited about it all that they can’t wait to plan and add they’re little special touches to the celebration. As wedding and special event decorators and planners, we see it all and are more then happy to help all and any of you. For the brides that imagine a great hall with lots of flowers cascading down from tall vases but are set back when it comes to the actual price, why not consider silk flowers. The silk flowers of today or faux fresh as we like to call them are not the cheap, corny looking things from years ago. Silk flowers these days are quite real looking and some are also very aromatic. Of course if you wanted to buy these it could be a little price but why not rent? I mean if you were to have fresh flowers, would they not wilt after that night? So why not rent silk flower arrangements for a fraction of the price? If you are considering silks, please try doing fresh for your bouquet or really great quality silk flowers, as these flowers will be in your pictures forever. Just wanted to update everyone on what our brides and other clients ask about and consider. Take care Nicky Design Diva Caralis Weddings & Events 519-697-1588 |
